Clint Snead, CFA®
Clint currently serves as the President, Chief Compliance Officer, Senior Advisor and Analyst at Box Financial Advisors. He completed his undergraduate education with a dual Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Business Economics from Texas Tech University. In 2005, Clint completed his Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, where he focused on a Finance concentration with a specialization in investments and financial consulting. Upon completing his MBA, he became a CFA Charterholder. The Charter Financial Analyst® (CFA) credential has become the most respected and recognized investment designation in the world.
After a few years in banking, Clint started his financial planning career by advising clients on their investments when he started at Fidelity Investments in 2000. In 2003, Clint made the transition to Fidelity’s branch investment center in Irving, Texas and worked in various financial planning roles. After successfully consulting clients about their financial plans, Clint was asked to focus on high net worth individuals and highly compensated executives. Prior to prayerfully joining Box Financial Advisors in 2014, he oversaw a client portfolio of approximately $500 million in client assets.
Clint and Audra were married in 2002. They have a boy and two girls, Sawyer, Ridgely, and Sutton. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and learning to fly fish with friends. Together, they most enjoy finding opportunities to serve at their church and in the local community.
Logan graduated from Texas Tech University where he earned a B.S. in Personal Financial Planning. The Personal Financial Planning program at Texas Tech enabled him to learn from an elite staff about comprehensive planning techniques. Those topics included investment management, income tax planning, retirement counsel and many other areas. This created a solid launching pad for his next steps. In 2011, he participated in a training institute called Kairos Workmatters Institute which helps define purpose in the marketplace. He learned practical skills and obtained a vision for servant leadership.
Logan joined Box Financial during the spring of 2013 as a Financial Advisor. He came to Box from Freedom 5:one Ministries where he was a Financial Coach in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It was here that Logan learned the growing need for wise planning and built relationships with clients to advise them in many financial areas. Logan’s unique background allows him to be a great asset to the Box team. Box Financial is a great way for Logan to use his gifts by coming alongside clients and encouraging healthy stewardship of the resources that have been entrusted to them.
In 2016, Logan married Ashley who is a pediatric nurse in Dallas. They are members of Eastside Community Church and are involved with a weekly home group in the community. Ashley and Logan have a daughter, Blakely, who was born in 2020. Logan had the chance to study abroad in Europe while at Texas Tech and highly recommends visiting southern Spain to try the tapas. Alan D. Thornton, Jr
Alan joined the Box Financial team in 2018 as a Financial Advisor and brought with him a comprehensive career – most recently, as Director of Development for Major Gifts at the University of North Texas. In his three years in this role he raised more than $2M for student scholarships, programs and a named department chair position. Alan graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Fitness Management and then went on to get a Master of Science degree in Sports Administration.
Alan was introduced to the financial services industry in 2008 through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University and since 2012 he has served in the Stewardship Ministry Department as teacher and table leader for Financial Hope Workshops and Financial Fitness Workshops at Gateway Church. “My desire is to be used to effect change for God’s people to experience freedom in every area of their life, with their personal finances being a conduit to their complete freedom…”
In May of 2012, Alan was married to the “love of his life,” Jen. They have three children: twins (boy/girl), Micah and Noel, and their youngest son, Asher. Alan’s hobbies include family time, reading, fishing, and “simple” DIY projects. He is an amateur foodie and he and Jen love to discover new destinations and local eateries.
Kathleen joined Box Financial in January of 2018 as an Administrative Assistant. She brings with her extensive experience in business administration and ministry. Long before she understood the concept of marketplace ministry, she was managing people and systems while holding Bible studies in the conference room before or after work.
Kathleen’s background in finance includes accounting manager positions for various for profit and non-profit organizations and churches. Kathleen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Belmont University in Nashville, TN and a Master of Arts degree in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL.
While she absolutely loves to study the Bible and share the unique perspective she receives from God with others, she is equally exhilarated playing with trains on the floor with grandson David, being the student for grandson (and aspiring teacher) Paul, and engaging in all things Barbie with her granddaughter Sarah.
Dustin graduated with a Master of Accountancy from Baylor University where he was part of the Baylor Golf team for 3 years. After school, Dustin practiced his trade as an international tax consultant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in San Jose California.
Dustin joined Box in January of 2003 and took over ownership and management of the firm in 2007. As a certified insurance counselor, coupled with his years of studying accounting, Dustin is well able to quickly identify risks and decipher financial statements. Dustin has also served as a trusted advisor to over 100 businesses with several grossing in excess of $100 million annually.
Dustin’s time with Box Financial Advisors is spent putting his accounting and finance background to work by completing downside risk due diligence on potential investments for the Box Financial client base. Box Financial Advisors looks to offer market alternative investments that deliver dependable low risk returns for preservation minded clients. Dustin also makes himself regularly available to the Box Financial President as a resource to support the Vision & Mission of Box Financial.
Dustin is married to Alicia and they have two girls, Isabel and Jessica, and two boys, Caleb and Joshua. Dustin enjoys playing golf, gardening, travel, and eating good food. Dustin’s greatest passion is growing in his relationship with Jesus Christ and spends significant resources in his work in Israel and Guatemala.
