President, Financial Advisor
Martin is the President and Chief Steward at Box Financial Advisors. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from West Texas A&M University, where he was also a four year starter on the Buffalo soccer team.
Martin’s industry experience in financial planning began in 1997 when he worked for what was then First Dallas Securities in downtown Dallas. From there he moved to H.D. Vest in 1998 and worked as a Wealth Management Specialist. In 1999, Martin passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Exam, one of the highest regarded and most recognized certifications available in the financial planning industry. In addition, Martin has obtained the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations from The American College in Pennsylvania. Martin has also received the Qualified Kingdom AdvisorTM designation granted to financial professionals who have met high standards in training, integrity, character and competence.
When Wells Fargo acquired H.D. Vest in 2001, Martin stayed on and worked in the Advisory Services area, where he concentrated on portfolio management and design. During his final years at Wells Fargo he focused on advanced planning in the estate and business planning areas. The opportunity to hone his skills and acquire knowledge from an industry titan like Wells Fargo for almost a decade was extremely valuable to Martin’s development. In 2010 Martin prayerfully decided to leave corporate America, taking his vast education and experience with him to launch Box Financial Advisors.
Marsha is Martin’s bride of sixteen years, and together they have four children: nine year old twins, Brexton and Makeelie, four year old Brenley, and their latest addition Kenzington born in September of 2012. He and Marsha are very active and involved at Gateway Church, and together serve on the altar ministry team. Spending time with family and leading himself and others to be better disciples of Jesus Christ are his favorite hobbies.
Clint Snead, CFA®
Senior Financial Advisor, Analyst
Clint currently serves as a Senior Financial Advisor and Analyst at Box Financial Advisors. He completed his undergraduate education with a dual Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Business Economics from Texas Tech University. In 2005, Clint completed his Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, where he focused on a Finance concentration with a specialization in investments and financial consulting. Upon completing his MBA, he became a CFA Charterholder. The Charter Financial Analyst® (CFA) credential has become the most respected and recognized investment designation in the world.
After a few years in banking, Clint started his financial planning career by advising clients on their investments when he started at Fidelity Investments in 2000. In 2003, Clint made the transition to Fidelity’s branch investment center in Irving, Texas and worked in various financial planning roles. After successfully consulting clients about the financial plans, Clint was asked to focus on high net worth individuals and highly compensated executives. Prior to prayerfully joining Box Financial Advisors in 2014, he oversaw a client portfolio of approximately $500 million in client assets.
Clint and Audra have been married for 11 years. They have a boy and a girl, Sawyer and Ridgely. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and learning to fly fish with friends. Together they host a Gateway Church lifegroup for young married couples and they most enjoy finding opportunities to serve.
Logan graduated from Texas Tech University where he earned a B.S. in Personal Financial Planning. The Personal Financial Planning program at Texas Tech enabled him to learn from an elite staff about modern planning techniques. This created a solid launching pad for his next steps. During the summer of 2011, he participated in a summer training institute called Kairos which closes the gap between campus and the marketplace. He learned practical skills and obtained a vision for servant leadership in the marketplace.
Logan joined Box Financial during the spring of 2013 as a Financial Advisor. He came to Box from Freedom 5:one Ministries where he was a Financial Coach in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Logan financially coached individuals and families, taught financial education seminars, and managed the website. It was here that Logan learned the growing need for wise planning and built relationships with his clients to advise them in many financial areas. Logan’s unique background of ministry and financial planning allow him to be a great asset to the Box team. Box Financial is a great way for Logan to use his gifts by coming alongside clients and encouraging healthy stewardship of the resources that have been entrusted to them.
Logan attends The Village Church in Dallas and is involved with a weekly home group. He had the chance to study abroad in Europe while at Texas Tech and highly recommends visiting southern Spain to try the tapas. Being a native of Austin, he’s always on the search for a good food truck. You can catch him cycling during his free time and listening to Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors.
Garrett joined Box Financial Advisors in the fall of 2012 as the executive assistant. He sees Box Financial Advisors as a place to marry his administrative skills with his desire to see people free from the burden of debt from fiscal struggles and onto the path of financial independence.
He graduated from Lamar University with an engineering degree and went to work for a large telecommunications company where he helped maintain on their fiber optic network. After a time of work in the engineering field, he discovered that his passion and gifts lined up more with administration.
He went to work as an assistant to a Missions pastor at Gateway Church where he helped coordinate international travel and ministry events. From there, he joined RU4Children, a DFW based non-profit that focuses on meeting the needs of children around the world. Garrett handled many of the administrative tasks including accounting, communication, and website maintenance. He also occasionally led teams to conduct work in the field.
He and his wife Samantha have been married six years and live in North Fort Worth. They are very active in Gateway Church, where they serve in the Welcome Center and Altar Ministry. They both share passions for mission work, travel and helping newly married couples build a strong foundation in their first few years of marriage.
Dustin Parker, MAcc
CEO of Box Insurance
Dustin graduated with a Master of Accountancy from Baylor University where he was part of the Baylor Golf team for 3 years. After school, Dustin practiced his trade as an international tax consultant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in San Jose California.
Dustin joined Box Insurance in January of 2003 and took over ownership and management of the agency in 2007. As a certified insurance counselor, coupled with his years of studying tax law, Dustin is well able to quickly identify risks and decipher financial statements. Dustin has served as a consultant to businesses grossing upwards of $70 million.
Dustin’s time with Box Financial Advisors is spent putting his accounting and finance background to work by completing downside risk due diligence on potential investments for the Box Financial client base. It is Dustin’s job to analyze all investment opportunities and either green light them or red light them as quality investments for our clients. Box Financial Advisors looks to offer market alternative investments that deliver dependable low risk returns for preservation minded clients.
Dustin is married to Alicia and they have two girls, Isabel and Jessica, and two boys, Caleb and Joshua. Dustin enjoys playing golf with friends and family as well as playing guitar and leading worship in his weekly bible study. Dustin’s greatest passion is growing in his relationship with Jesus Christ and spends several weeks each year in Southern Mexico and Guatemala doing mission work.
